Teenage Power on TV

It's a teenage day every Sunday afternoon. Yup, as the weekend afternoon series "Your Song" now presents stories focusing on the life and lovelifes of teenagers. For the succeeding months, the said program features shows like the previous "Underage" last April and now starting this sunday, "Boys Town" will hits your Sunday afternoon TV habits.

It's nice that the show features both teenage genders. The first one, "Underage" was topbilled by the hottest youngstar actress led by Melissa Ricks and was all about the girls story. And now in "Boys Town", the show will focused on boys. This will led then by Robi Domingo and Enchong Dee as well as the whole member of the Gigger boys! It such a gender sensitive show for teenagers. It's a great blend of youth oriented show applicable in our today's era.

More amazing to know that these two shows were originally got from old teenage movies. "Underage" was an old movie way back on 80's led by the versatile actresses, Maricel Soriano, Snooky Serna, and Dina Bonnevie. Same with "Boys Town" was an old teenage movie from the same generation topcast by Gabby Concepcion, William Martinez, Snooky Serna, and Maricel Soriano. If I'm not mistaken, there were both from the same film company which is Regal Film! Wow, it's such a revival from the past bringing back to life now in the modern days.

It's good that TV series like these give importance and emphasized on our youth today. Moreover, they give also credits and worths to the old movies that previous hit the era of our mother and father as these shows were taken from these films. It's another exciting habit these two shows can give specially to the youths and teenagers like us! c",)
