Two new Kapamilya TV programs debuted last Saturday. One is a singing variety show while the other is a rom-com or a romance-comedy series. The "As One" stars Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera hosted the singing game show while the Comedy Concert Queen Ms. Ai-Ai De Las Alas and the hearthrob Mr. Aga Muchlach star the romance-comedy show.Surprisingly, the singing game show called "Twist and Shout" won over its rival! It piloted placing on the No. 2 slot on the Saturday rating. It beats its rival "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho" on the other network!
Still on the Sunday rating, "Twist and Shout" is a winner! It bested its rival "Mel and Joey" and it took the No. 3 spot! Wow! Good job Gary and Martin as well as its contestants!
But on the other hand, the pilot episode of "M3 (Malay Mo Ma-develop)" loose the game as it was beaten by the rival "Imbestigador"! It only placed 7TH on the ranking! Well, better luck next time for this show!Meanwhile "Agua Bendita" followed by "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" ruled the Friday TV ratings! Consistently, they were topnotchers!
The fashionserye "Magkaribal" maintains its No. 4 spot on the rating race!
