If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time in a TV series that Iza Calzado and TJ Trinidad will be working together as a pair. They two will be the next hottest and sexiest pair in Primetime! Wow!Iza Calzado will play the role of Maita, a palengke-queen who turned to be a "Beauty Queen"!
The story of "Beauty Queen" begins with Maita (Iza Calzado), a struggling beauty-queen aspirant, who dreams of competing in the prestigious Bb. Isla Pilipinas beauty pageant. She rushes from one beauty competition to another in hopes of making her mother, Amparo (Elizabeth Oropesa), a former beauty queen who was dethroned after becoming pregnant, proud of her.
Maita shares the same dream with her childhood best friend Rebecca (Maggie Wilson), the daughter of Leavida (Carmi Martin), another former beauty titlist who happens to be the fiercest rival of Amaparo during their glory days!
Aside from Iza and Maggie, Katrina Halili is the other beauty queen in this new series who will became the villain of Iza. Katrina plays the insecure and timid Dorcas, a primera kontrabida in the story!
If there were beauty queens, definitely there were sexy hunks! Aside from TJ Trinidad, the other hot actors in this TV series were Marvin Agustin and Luis Alandy! Marvin Agustin is the hugely successful Donald while the hunk Luis Alandy plays the character of the passionate Dante! On the other hand, TJ Trinidad portrays the role of a womanizing Marc!
