Would there be a great possibility that the upcoming Angel Locsin-Aga Muchlach movie be pitted against the upcoming Marian Rivera-Richard Gutierrez movie this coming Valentines?!It was announced and confirmed that the Angel Locsin-Aga Muchlach movie under Star Cinema directed by Olivia Lamasan will be the ABS-CBN's Valentines movie offering. It is tentatively titled as "Huling Sayaw".
Later, there were rumors that Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera will be paired for the second time after their 2008's "My Bestfriend's Girlfriend (BFGF)" in another Valentines movie of GMA Film. And they say, this will going to be pitted against the Angel-Aga movie!
Will this be another round of Angel Locsin versus Marian Rivera now in the field of the big screen?!
We may note that every year, every Valentines day, Star Cinema and GMA Film were competing one another in terms of their Valentines movie offering. It started in February 2005 when the Angel Locsin-Richard Gutierrez movie under GMA Film called "Let The Love Begin" fought against the Piolo Pascual-Bea Alonzo movie from Star Cinema called "Dream Boy"! It was a big issue between these two films if who between them topped the box-office!This became a trend in the succeeding years! Another Angel-Richard movie from GMA Film called "I Will Always Love You" compete with Star Cinema's "Close To You" starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz! So on and so forth...!
In 2011, it seems that another fight is yet to come! Two Primetime Queens Angel and Marian for the first time will now compete in terms of box-office earnings! The former loveteam Angel and Richard will also fight for the first time. There were not anymore lovers this time, but a box-office rivals!

angel-aga of course, hindi lang dahil lamang sila sa ganda at galing sa acting, also because it's from star cinema - the producer that produces quality movies.
