Finally Ms. Iya Villania renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network. Iya signed a three-year guaranteed exclusive contract with the network last November 19.This cleared the rumor that Iya will transfer to the rival Kapuso station. A week ago, we may recall that Iya said goodbye to her fellow "ASAP XV" team. Yup, GMA-7 gave offer to Iya. Hosting team-up with her real-life boyfriend Drew Arellano is one of GMA's offers. This is via their new Christmas reality show called "Puso Ng Pasko"!
But a week after, Iya renewed her contract with ABS-CBN. Reasons why Iya refused the offer from GMA were not disclosed!
Iya was very happy that ABS-CBN prevented her from transferring to the rival network. Part of her three-year contract with the Kapamilya are staying as co-host of "ASAP" and as VJ of MYX, hosting of a reality show, hosting of a News and Current Affairs program, a TV series, and another new show in Studio 23!
The said reality show that will be hosted by Iya is another new reality show wherein ABS-CBN already bought its franchise. This is like "Pinoy Big Brother" which aired every two years. A homegrown hunky actor of ABS-CBN will be paired with Iya in hosting this said new reality show.
Her news and currents affairs program was not yet revealed. But this will start this coming January 2011 and it will be a one hour nightly show!
In terms of her new TV series, right now, Iya is said to be one of the casts in the upcoming new TV series of a famous and controversial actor! And besides this, it was confirmed that Iya will do one season of the upcoming "Precious Hearts Romances Presents"!
And aside from those, this coming December, Iya will be launched as the new Tanduay Girl! She will be seen in the new sexy Tanduay 2011 calendar!
