The Beauty Queen turned actress Precious Lara Quigaman will play as a mermaid in this new fantasy series "Mutya"! And this will be her launching teleserye!
Precious is the second Beauty Queen in the Kapamilya network who was given her own TV series! The first one is Bianca Manalo who was launch in "Juanita Banana"!
Precious already appeared in many hit TV series in ABS-CBN. Two of these were in "May Bukas Pa" wherein she played as a kind policewoman and a kind-hearted wife of Tonton Gutierrez and in PHR "Importor" wherein she portrayed as a wicked plastic surgeon! She even got a short appearance in "Imortal" as she played as the mother of the baby Mateo (John Lloyd Cruz) and the wife of the vampire Jomari Yllana!The time now rises to Precious here in "Mutya". This is her own TV series! The story revolves around the mermaids! It is based from the creation of Pablo S. Gomez!
The hunk actor Kapamilya returnee Mr. Alfred Vargas will be Precious' leading man! Malou Crisologo and Nina Jose were also part of the cast!
