It was confirmed that the Prince of Comedy Mr. Vic Sotto will do a Star Cinema movie this year. Previously it was reported that it is a Vic Soto-Zaijan Jaranilla movie project. The good news about it, Ms. Toni Gonzaga will also be part of this exciting new movie!Yup, Toni Gonzaga will be Vic Sotto's leading lady in this said new movie. And it's a reunion project for Toni and Vic. We may recall that Toni and Vic were together in the longest running noontime show "Eat Bulaga". It was Toni's TV program in the Kapuso network before she transferred to the Kapamilya network!
This movie will also be the comeback project of bossing Vic Sotto with Star Cinema after 14 years. Sotto's last movie with Star Cinema was "Biyudo Si Daddy, Biyuda si Mommy" way back in 1997. This said film was co-produced by Vic Sotto's M-Zet film outfit.
We may also note that Toni Gonzaga was the first choice to be Vic and Bong's leading lady in the MMFF movie "Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote". But since Toni is too busy with her different projects, the offer was rejected.
