It's gonna be a great battle of the 2011 Summer Station IDs this Sunday as the rival Kapamilya and Kapuso networks will launch their respective Station IDs for summer of 2011.The Sunday afternoon variety shows of these two networks will be used as a tool or medium for their launch. ABS-CBN's Summer SID will be launched in "ASAP Rocks" while GMA-7's Summer SID will be introduced in "Party Pilipinas"!
The 2011 Summer Station ID of the Kapamilya network is called "Bida Best Sa Tag-Araw". This is inline with the network's slogan campaign called "Bida Best". It's another gathering of the network's brightest stars taken in particular resort.
Meanwhile, the Kapuso's 2011 Summer SID is entitled "Halo-Halo Ang Summer Saya". Just like the Pinoy favorite summer dessert called 'halo-halo', GMA-7 will feature in this said summer SID their variety of newest TV show offerings.
