GMA-7 already showed series of teasers and trailers of their upcoming fantasy series on Telebabad, "Captain Barbell"!
Richard Gutierrez reprises the role of the well-known Pinoy superhero "Captain Barbell" and his alter-ego Teng.
The first "Captain Barbell" TV series was aired in 2006 and still Richard Gutierrez portrayed the said role with Rhian Ramos and Camille Prats as his leading ladies. The main villain before was played by Richard Gomez.
Now, the second sequel of this another hit creation of Mars Ravelo has something to offer. Well, let's see how this new "Captain Barbell" TV series is different from its first installation. Let's all watch these:

On the first teaser released by the Kapuso network, they showcased the economic and poverty condition of our country. And from this national problem encountered by our country, "Captain Barbell" will come and save us.
The costume is one of the great difference of this new "Captain Barbell" TV series from the previous one. But aside from this, the other distinction of this new telefantasya is the league of superheroes. Yup, "Captain Barbell" will not fight alone! Rather, he will be joined by other superheroes!
Also starring in the primetime series are Jillian Ward, Solenn Heussaff as Janna, Sam Pinto as Sammy, Lovi Poe as Althea, Frencheska Farr as Sonica, Michelle Madrigal as Blue Cyclone, Bianca King as Lary, Isabel Oli as Melanie, TJ Trinidad as Metal Man, Mike Tan as Anino and Christopher De Leon as Nero.
Included in the extended cast are Eddie Gutierrez as General Armando, Jhake Vargas as Spin Boy, Bea Binene as Blade Girl, Akihiro Sato as Bruno the Hulkman, Paolo Paraiso as Rodel the Sandman, Ervic Vijandre as Kidlat, Ellen Adarna as Fuega, Jon Hall, Ces Quesada and Marky Lopez.
Rhian Ramos will have a special participation as Leah Lazaro.
