Finally the Optimum Star Ms. Claudine Barretto can now be seen in a Primetime TV series. This is via the weekly horror-comedy mini-series "Spooky Nights Presents."This coming Saturday, another new story of horror and comedy unveils in this hit Kapuso weekend series. This is the fourth offering of the said show and is entitled as "Nuno Sa Feng Shui."
Claudine Barretto takes the lead role. She plays the character of Mila, a woman cursed by a "nuno" since childhood. She may have a beautiful face but her hips and legs are just unusually and distractingly huge.
Kapuso hunk actor TJ Trinidad will be Claudine's leading man in this episode. He portrays the character of Stephen Lee,the only son of her Chinese employers.
In the story, Mila lives a plain and simple life. She is taking care of a bedridden father and believes that she will soon becomes an old man. She believes that Chinese astrology and charms will change her fate.
Mila's life changes when she met Stephen. She eventually becomes attracted to him but the latter didn't feel any for her.
Until one day, Mila helped a beggar. The said beggar gave a bracelet to her which is actually a love poison. She needs to rub it three times against Stephen's right hand to make him fall for her. Stephen then was caught!
But actually, the beggar is the "nuno". He cursed Mila through that said charm bracelet. Eventually, Mila and Stephen encountered extra-ordinary happenings in their lives!
What then is the real intention of the "nuno" to Mila?! Will Mila and Stephen be finally put in danger at the end?!
Joining Claudine and TJ in the cast are Marco Alcaraz as Nunok, the "nuno" who cursed Mila; Tiya Pusit as Mrs. Lee, the mother of Stephen; Daniel Fernando as Aldo, Mila's heartless and bedridden father; and "Munting Heredera" child star Mona Louise Rey as the young Mila. This is under the direction of Uro Q. Dela Cruz.
"Spooky Nights Presents: Nuno sa Feng Shui" premieres this Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 7pm only in GMA-7!
The said new show reunites Claudine and TJ after the two paired for the first time in the defunct drama-anthology "Claudine!"
After this "Spooky Nights" episode, Claudine is set to start tapping for her Telebabad comeback soap tentatively titled as "Iglot" reuniting her to former Kapamilya stars Jolina magdangal, Marvin Agustin, and Luis Alandy! Good luck Claud! c",)
