After her successful TV series "Magkaribal" wherein she portrayed the character of the powerful and fashionista Victoria Valera, Gretchen Barretto is set to return on Primetime via another exciting TV series. This time, she will play the character of a queen!Yup, Ms. Gretchen Barretto will portray the character of the Queen of Bhutan or what they call as The Ashi in the upcoming teleserye "Princess and I."
"Princess and I" is the the upcoming Primetime TV series of Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla, and Khalil Ramos. This is previously titled as "You're Always in My Heart."
If Gretchen is the queen, then Kathryn is the princess. And if there's a queen and a princess, definitely, there is also a king and a prince. And they will be Albert Martinez and Enrique Gil!
Majority of the scenes were taken in Bhutan. The main lead characters even studied the language of the said kingdom.
