It started way back when they were still young and experiencing love for the first time. Julius and Joy are both happy in each other’s arms until one day, Julius is abducted by armed men. Joy, who witnesses the kidnapping, attempts to help Julius and ends up getting abducted as well.
Julius manages to escape and runs away to call for help. But Joy, upon seeing him leave, thinks he has chosen to save his own life and abandoned her.
When Julius returns for her, Joy is nowhere to be found and authorities said she is already dead. Little does Julius know that someone helped Joy escape the kidnappers.
Fourteen years later, Julius would be a homicide detective and still hasn’t given up on finding Joy, hoping that she is still alive. Joy, on the other hand, returns to Korea as Zoe, an accomplished fashion designer with Harry (Yoo Seung-Ho), the young man who saved her life.
As the two cross paths once more, feelings in the past will be awakened. Julius can feel it in his heart that Zoe is the woman he loved way back, but Joy intentionally keeps the truth from her first love to seek revenge for abandoning her during that tragic moment.
How fan can Julius go just to prove that Zoe and Joy are the same person? What will happen when Joy finds out the truth on why Julius ran away when they were kidnapped? Will they give their love a second chance?
“Missing You” marks the return of a Asianovela on ABS-CBN’s primetime line-up since the idol drama “Dream High” aired April last year.
