Laugh and fall in love as "Blockbuster Sundays," Cinema One’s highest rating movie block presents Thailand's hit romantic comedy movie “ATM” this Sunday (April 7).
The 2012 Thai film revolves around a couple Jib (Preechaya “Ice” Pongthananikorn) and Sua (Chantavit “Ter” Dhanasevi) who work in a bank and have kept their five-year relationship a secret from their colleagues because the company forbids workplace romance. But when they finally decide to get married, one of them must resign. However, neither was willing to give up his or her job.
To settle their dilemma, Jib and Sua compete with each other in recovering the money from the bank’s malfunctioned ATM machine that dispenses twice the amount of money its depositors withdraw. They agree that whoever loses should quit his or her job.
“ATM” or originally “ATM Er Rak Error,” is one of the highest grossing movies of 2012 that also gained positive reviews from the public. Yahoo OMG Philippines’ Walden Belen praised the film, which he described as “a surprisingly funny movie you’ll fall in love with.” Belen also said that the story was well-structured and straight-forward where comic antics of the characters flowed naturally.
Don’t miss “ATM” this Sunday (April 7), 8:00 p.m., only on the number one cable channel in the Philippines, Cinema One, available on SkyCable Gold, SkyCable Silver and other quality cable operators. (www.tvseriescraze.blogspot.com)
