Richard Yap, one of ABS-CBN's most bankable leading men today, will soon serenade his numerous fans via the songs in his own musical album.
Yap signed a contract with Star Records recently. He is set to launch his debut solo album which will include English and Tagalog songs and possibly, a Chinese song.

When asked what musical genres he prefers, Yap said that he is into ballads and acoustic music.
“Hopefully matanggap ng mga tao ang ambition ko na maging singer,” he enthused.
Yap, however, is not new to singing. He was a member of his high school Glee Club.
