Jennifer Catayong a.k.a. Nicki Minaj, the “Ultimate Kalokalike” of “It’s Showtime” shares with Anthony Taberna that she plans to spend a portion of her P300,000 prize on the cremation of her deceased father in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” this Thursday (October 10).
“I will have my father’s remains cremated, then I will deposit the remaining money in the bank for my studies. I will also start a business,” she said.
In the interview, Jennifer also reveals her struggles in life. When her father died, Jennifer had to stop going to school to become the breadwinner of the family.

Meanwhile, “The Voice of the Philippines” grand winner Mitoy Yonting says he will not waste the support of those who voted for him to win in the singing-reality show by spending his P2 million cash prize wisely. He refers to the prize as the “people’s investment.”
“It’s important to spend the money wisely because the people gave it. My wife and I are still planning for the money,” he said.
He also talks about the lessons he learned from joining the singing contest. The veteran band vocalist admits that in reality shows, the back stories of the contestants sometimes charm the audience, but he claims that a sad life story is not always a ticket to winning a talent competition.
“As what Coach Lea Salonga told us, it’s not necessary. ’In this contest, in our team, you don’t have to share your sad stories and life problems to please and win the sympathy of the people,’” he added.
Don’t miss “Tapatan ni Tunying” (TNT) this Thursday (October 10), 4:45 PM on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold. (www.tvseriescraze.blogspot.com)
