Mornings get even brighter as television host and returning Kapamilya Amy Perez is now part of ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda” (UKG).
Aside from her fellow UKG anchors Anthony Taberna, Bernadette Sembrano, Bianca Gonzales, Atom Araullo, Ariel Ureta, Winnie Cordero, and Zen Hernandez, Amy was also greeted and warmly welcomed by various Kapamilya stars such as Vice Ganda, Enrique Gil, Luis Manzano, Jericho Rosales, Andi Eigenmann, Cristine Reyes, Maja Salvador, Nikki Gil, Julia Montes, Gerald Anderson, Vina Morales, and Zsa Zsa Padilla via a VTR last Monday (Dec 2).
Amy started her career in show business as an actress back in 1984. She appeared in movies like “Campus Beat” and “Jack & Jill” before she ventured into hosting. Her biggest break as a host happened in the early 90s when she hosted “’Sang Linggo nAPO Sila,” which was immediately followed by “Magandang Tanghali Bayan.”
She also appeared on television with her role as Amelia in the long-running sitcom “Palibhasa Lalaki” as one of her most memorable roles.
Amy currently hosts the musical game show “The Singing Bee” every weekend alongside Roderick Paulate.
