Annaliza’s story will soon come to an end, but Andrea Brillantes’ road to superstardom has just begun especially now that she is tagged as ABS-CBN’s newest ‘Tween Princess.’
According to business unit head Ruel Bayani, “Annaliza” not only captivated the hearts of Filipinos during its ten-month run, but it also has produced Philippine television’s next big tween superstar.
“She really has a big future ahead of her in showbiz. With her looks and great acting chops, she will definitely go far. She really has the makings to be a massive star and she’s on her way to becoming one,” Bayani shared.
She may be one of the country’s most adored young stars today, but Andrea barely acknowledges her newfound fame and simply attributes it to the many people who want their photos taken with her.

“Many people want to take photos with me now. I also gained more followers on Twitter and Instagram, and I feel that more people love me,” said Andrea, who just turned eleven last Wednesday, when asked how her stature as a celebrity changed with “Annaliza.”
True enough, Andrea’s portrayal as Annaliza made her a popular household name and also earned her her first acting award when she was recognized last year as Best Child Performer at the PMPC Star Awards for Television.
With the support given to her by her fans and the management, Andrea is very thankful for the trust given to her. “I am happy and thankful that my first show lasted this long. I am a bit sad, of course, that I will no longer work with my best friend Kyline, my tatay (Zanjoe), and the rest of the cast, but that’s just how it is.”
Young as she may seem, Andrea already envisions herself carving a name for herself in the industry. She even shared how she wants to venture into directing someday.
“I want to direct a Pinoy Superman movie. I want my tatay (Zanjoe) to play the part and his leading lady will be ate Bea (Alonzo).”
“Annaliza” began airing in May 2013 and has run for almost four seasons on-air, trouncing four rival programs on GMA in nationwide ratings. It made a mark on Philippine television when it hit an all-time high national TV rating of 27.8%, a significantly high rating for a program that airs on the 6PM timeslot, and also landed third on the list of the ten most-watched programs in the country that day, according to data from Kantar Media.
In its highly anticipated finale, Annaliza (Brillantes) and her family face their biggest battle yet as they feel the wrath of Makoy (Carlo Aquino) and Stella (Kaye Abad), who lost their daughter in an attempt to kill Annaliza. How will Annaliza make it through this final ordeal?
