Heart Evangelista is the New 'Alwina' in GMA's "Mulawin Vs. Ravena"

GMA-7  finally revealed the cast of their upcoming telefantasya "Mulawin Versus Ravena" during their Primetime news program "24 Oras,"  Monday nght of March 27, 2017.  And one of the casts who truly surprised the audience is the character of 'Alwina.'

Yes, Heart Evangelista is the new Alwina! She reprised the iconic character played by Angel Locsin  in the original "Mulawin" wayback in 2004.  

During the cast launch, Heart for the very first time appeared in costume!

Heart expressed her message of gratitude via her instagram account to the Kapuso network for the trust given to her to play the said iconic character.

Heart joins her bff Lovi Poe in the series who is playing the character of water goddess Magindara. She is also reunited with her former leading man Dennis Trillo who reprised his original character as Gabriel.
