Piolo Pascual Returns in "MMK" Playing a Paralyzed Father

Piolo Pascual topbills “MMK’s” Father’s Day episode this Saturday (June 17) and gives life to the touching story of a man whose photo of him watching his kids eat in a fastfood chain went viral on Facebook.

Many were moved by his selfless act but not many people know about the struggles tatay Ryan (Piolo) had to go through in life. A hardworking and loving father who wants nothing but to give his family a good life, Ryan had his dreams shattered when he suffered a stroke that paralyzed half of his body and also affected his speech. Instead of being the breadwinner of the family, he became more of a burden to them, especially to his wife Rosalyn (Isabelle Daza).

At first, Rosalyn took care of him and understood his situation. However, she eventually got fed up and left him for another man. How did Ryan help himself and at the same time raise his two children?

Joining this upcoming episode are Lito Pimentel, Encar Benedicto, Xia Vigor, Ynna Asistio, Myel de Leon, and Maika Rivera. The episode is directed by Diosdado Lumibao and written by Akeem Del Rosario and Arah Badayos. “MMK” is led by Star Creatives COO Malou Santos.
