'Instalado' To Return To Cinemas for Cine Lokal Screening

Instalado movie  is set to return to selected cinemas via Cine Lokal Screening this January 26, 2018.

'Instalado' is a Filipino indie sci-fi film starring Hashtag member Mccoy de Leon, written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.

The film was released on July 12, 2017 as one of the entries for 2nd TOFARM Film Festival. The film won six awards on the said festival which are Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Sound, Best Production Design, People's Choice and 3rd Best Picture.

For one week only, starting January 26, Instalado can be seen across the Eight SM Cinemas which are  Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, SM Fairview, SM Southmall, SM Bacoor, SM Sta. Mesa and SM Manila at 1:00pm, 3:30pm, 6:00pm and 8:30pm.

Synopsis:

A social science fiction set in a farming village in the not-so-distant future. Victor lives in a time when the dominant form of education is through installation, a process wherein bodies of knowledge can be installed directly into people’s brains using technology owned by big corporations. Victor cannot afford the sky-high cost of installation; which he believes is the key to escape his rural life.
