The "Queen of GMA's Teleserye Theme Songs" and the Kapuso Siren Ms. Maricris Garcia-Cruz is celebrating her birthday. And aside from that, the singer-actress is soon to be a mother!
In line with the success in her personal life and her career amidst of this pandemic, GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) a virtual or online blogcon for Maricris!
Maricris who is also a product of the GMA singing-reality show "Pinoy Pop Superstar" is now very popular after singing most of the Kapuso teleseryes. But prior to that, Maricris together with her friends Aicelle Santos and Jonalyn Viray /Jonah are members of the GMA girl group La Diva.
Maricris who is now happily married for three years is also expecting a baby. During our blogcon, we talked about her preparation being soon to be a mom. She also told us the challenges they faced during the pandemic and the things that kept her busy during the lockdown.

Meanwhile, I had my solo interview with Maricris. During my turn, I asked her four sets of questions. The first one was about her career-life balance now that she is a wife and a soon to be mom. The second is all about her teleserye theme song which she love the most. We even discussed her title being the so-called GMA "Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs."
And lastly, Maricris revealed that the Kapuso versatile actor Dennis Trillo is her dream leading man once she decided to do her own TV series. Is Maricris love to do being a kontrabida or a bida for a change? How about the genre of her teleserye if ever?

Aside from being a singer, Maricris already did many TV series on GMA-7. Her last teleserye with Kapuso was the afternoon hit drama "Asawa Ko Karibal Ko" starring Kris Bernal, Rayver Cruz, Jason Abalos, and Thea Tolentino. After this series, what's next for Maricris? Will she do another teleserye, launch a new single, or focus on her family with her first baby?
