The 13TH TV Series Craze Awards 2022 is finally concluded! And we are so proud to present to you our winners and awardees for this season!
This year, 30 awardees made it on our list from the different categories! New names have been entered while some made it again for the second time around.
The GMA's historic-cultural drama series "Maria Clara at Ibarra" dominate our list as it bagged the most number of awards - 6 in total including the Overall Best TV Series of 2022, Best Primetime Series, Lead Actor of the Year for Dennis Trillo, and Lead Actress of the Year for Julie Anne San Jose. Added to its success is the wining tandem of Fidel and Klay or FiLay, the characters of David Licauco and Barbie Forteza as the Hottest Loveteam of the Year. David Licauco is even hailed as the Breakthrough Celebrity of the Year.
Mars Ravelo's "Darna" on the other hand bagged 4 awards including Best Fantasy Series (tied with its rival "Lolong"). Its three lead cast members namely Jane De Leon, Janella Salvador, and Joshua Garcia also got their own respective awards namely the Most Promising Actress of the Year, Kontrabida of the Year, and Celebrity TikToker of the Year.
And after winning as our Breakthrough Celebrities of the Year last 2021, KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad or KDLex returned bagging two awards this year namely the Most Promising Love Team of the Year and the Best Digital Series for their Kumu and iWantTFC's "Run To Me."
Talking about back-to-back win, just like KDLex, Dennis Trillo also retained his title as the Lead Actor of the Year this 2022 after his last year's win from "The Legal Wives." Well after playing as a Muslim with three wives last 2021, Dennis today is once more remarkable as Juan Crisostomo Ibarra, the legendary character in Dr. Jose Rizal's novel.
Fresh new winners also made it to our list this year. And one of them is the hottest PPop boygroup, the BGYO who bagged the special recognition as the PPop of the Year award. FiLay or DavBie who emerged from the hit GMA series "Maria Clara At Ibarra" also joins the list of our fresh new entries!
Take note also that this year we got tie winners from our three categories - the Best Fantasy Series, the Most Promising Actors of the Year, and the Lead Actresses of the Year!
And of course in our international category, the hit Netflix zombie KDrama series "All Of Us Are Dead" wins big bagging three awards for the series itself and to two of its lead actors Yoon Chan-Young and Park Solomon!
And in terms of the BL Series, again Thailand is dominant giving us JoongDunk and FirstKhaotung for the BL Couple categories while "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" for the International BL Series of the Year.
