Wednesday has been officially renewed for a second season, Netflix said.
The
series originally premiered in November with eight episodes. It focused
on Wednesday Addams, a well-known "Addams Family" character, as she
starts her first year at Nevermore Academy (played by Jenna Ortega). She
develops her psychic skills there while attempting to solve a
paranormal mystery that plagues the community.

In a clip released by Netflix on Friday, Ortega can be heard saying in a voiceover: “Over the past few weeks, I’ve been hunted, haunted and mimicked millions of times across the internet. It’s been pure torture, thank you.”
