Philippine Entertainment Bloggers' Association (PEBA) in partnership with Cornerstone Entertainment just concluded their very first event - an intimate afternoon of fun, bonding, and chikahan with Cornerstone's very own PPop artists namely the VXON, the G22, the AJAA, and the YES MY LOVE!
Bloggers and content creators from PEBA who covered the event had a fun-filled experience getting to each member of the four PPop groups up close and personal. They even witnessed how amazing these four homegrown groups as they showcased their talents in different breath-taking performances!
VXON also shared the stories behind their album 20:20 via a listening session to their 9 songs included in their album. The 9 songs in their album are "SSP (Saksak Sa Puso)," "Kalaw," "Gamu-Gamo," "Coco," "O Kay Sarap," "Miss Na Kita," "KNT (Kanta Ng Tanga)," "Lisan," and "Sandal." Of course, the group shared us samples of some of these songs performing a live "sing and dance" portion on stage. And yeah their turn was concluded with a fun and kilig game with the bloggers!
In our interview with G22, they shared who influenced their music. They even shared the other PPop groups which they want to collaborate in the future. No. 1 on their list is no other than SB19. They even revealed that KZ Tandingan is their idol who is also their mentor!
During our intimate interview with these boys, they shared how they were selected to become part of the group. They revealed the challenges they faced prior in joining the team. Most of them also tried their lucks becoming one of the KPop aspirants. And yes, they were also studying, most of them are in Grade 10 already. They shared to us how they were able to balance their studies and their passion for PPop and music!
And last on our list is no other than the YES MY LOVE. They introduced themselves serenading us with their powerful acapella version of the 90's hit OPM love song called "Nanghihinayang," a song popularized by the 90's Pinoy group Jeremiah.
YES MY LOVE is now a five-member boygroup. It is comprised of Niko (Larry Mark Badayos), the "Leader, Main Dancer and Vocalist;" Joshua (Joshua Michael Ligan Adornado), the "Main Vocalist;" Jeff (Jose Jeffrey Cabrera Jr.), the "Lead Vocalist;" Brian (Brian Zamora), the "Lead Vocalist;" and RZ (Romeo Pelayo Condor Jr. III), the "Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Bunso."
The group revealed that they are about to release an upcoming album featuring their very own renditions of the classic OPM songs from the different female artists! They didn't reveal yet if who are these female artists but they promised us that we will love these covers!
Aside from the exciting activities, albums, and song releases of VXON, G22, AJAA, and YES MY LOVE which they shared during our intimate bonding, these four PPop groups of Cornerstone are set for a huge event this coming April 26, 2024 at the SM City North EDSA Skydome. The event is called "Fantopia: Summer Live." More details of the event including how to avail tickets are on the official poster below:
