Look, the Buenavista Family of the hit 2000 teleserye "Pangako Sa'yo" is having their own multiverse:
In the original "Pangako Sa'yo" which aired on Philippine TV in the Kapamilya network in 2000, Jean Garcia and Tonton Gutierrez were playing the married couple Madam Claudia Buenavista and Gov. Eduardo Buenavista. Their children, the siblings Lia and Angelo Buenavista were played by Jodi Sta. Maria and Jericho Rosales.
Now this 2024, the reverse in their characters took place in two rival TV series both aired in the rival networks! Jean Garcia and Tonton Gutierrez are now siblings in the GMA Prime's mystery-murder series "Widows' War" while on the other hand, Jodi Sta. Maria and Jericho Rosales are now playing lovers in the newest Kapamilya action-drama series "Lavender Fields."
